Rocketship Public Schools is hiring an Associate Director, Finance – Grants to lead grants management and financial compliance. You'll be a key member of our remote finance and accounting support network, ensuring the integrity and strategic use of grant funds.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full lifecycle of grant funding, from proposal budgeting to closeout
- Ensure financial compliance with federal, state, and private grantor regulations
- Prepare and submit accurate financial reports for all grants
- Monitor grant expenditures and budgets, providing analysis to stakeholders
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective grants administration
- Collaborate with program teams and external partners on grant-related financial matters
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in grants management within a nonprofit or educational setting
- Deep knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and other grant compliance regulations
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis for restricted funds
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex financial information to diverse audiences
