Responsibilities
- Develop and refine robotic welding programs for both new and current products.
- Create, adjust, and resolve issues in robot code using teach pendants and offline programming tools when applicable.
- Establish weld paths, torch positioning, travel speeds, and welding settings to meet quality and output goals.
- Prepare robotic welding stations for introduction of new products or design revisions.
- Diagnose and resolve programming, weld quality, and robotic equipment problems.
- Improve cycle efficiency without compromising safety or part quality.
- Conduct robot system backups, software upgrades, and maintain accurate program records.
- Partner with engineering teams to develop fixtures and enhance product design for manufacturing.
- Assist in preventive maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
- Evaluate weld integrity and apply corrective measures to address defects.
- Instruct operators and technicians in robot operation and basic issue resolution.
- Interpret engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, weld symbols, and technical specs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts guided by Lean manufacturing methods.
- Adhere to safety regulations, organizational policies, and client-specific requirements.
- Carry out additional assigned tasks as needed.

- Work may occur in various conditions, including indoor and outdoor areas, as well as dusty, noisy, hot, cold, or potentially dangerous environments.
- Tasks may include bending, stooping, reaching above or below shoulder level, crouching, kneeling, climbing ladders or ramps, and balancing on uneven surfaces.
- Ability to work at elevated heights, in confined spaces, or other physically challenging locations as required.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures is mandatory.
- Reliable and punctual attendance during standard business hours is required.
- Employees must have dependable transportation for commuting and occasional movement between local offices and worksites during business hours.
- All staff are responsible for safety and health, with authority to halt work if unsafe conditions exist, and must report hazards to supervisors immediately.
