Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary design team to deliver engineering solutions across various transportation sectors.
- Lead or contribute to the design of challenging roadway and transportation systems requiring innovative approaches.
- Work on projects involving roads, bicycle infrastructure, pedestrian pathways, roundabouts, trails, multimodal transit, and transportation planning initiatives.
- Conduct engineering design activities including street and highway layout, alignment development, roundabout configuration, grading, 3D modeling, curb ramp design, signage, pavement markings, traffic control during construction, and stormwater drainage systems.
- Apply federal and local roadway design standards to develop preliminary and final design packages, cost projections, and bidding documentation.
- Utilize design software such as Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D for project development and modeling.
- Support project managers in proposal development and assist in defining project scope, timelines, and financial estimates.

Compensation
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a signing bonus of up to $5,000, based on experience and role alignment. Bonus is contingent upon completing 12 months of service and must be repaid if employment ends within one year.
