Responsibilities
- Lead electrical and instrumentation (E&I) operations for renewable natural gas facilities, including hands-on troubleshooting and routine field collaboration with site personnel.
- Manage upkeep and enhancements of industrial control systems, specifically Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLC platforms.
- Manage upkeep and enhancements of field instrumentation and sensor networks.
- Manage upkeep and enhancements of alarm management systems such as Win-911 or equivalent platforms.
- Manage upkeep and enhancements of electrical infrastructure, including variable frequency drives, circuit breakers, and control panels.
- Serve as the main liaison for all third-party vendors related to automation, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Coordinate project scopes, resolve issues with vendor-provided systems, and verify compliance with site-specific standards.
- Deliver technical support for industrial network components, including switches, VLAN configurations, remote connectivity, and firewall setups where relevant.
- Work jointly with IT and cybersecurity units to maintain secure, compliant, and robust operational technology environments.
- Assist in cyber resilience efforts, including system patching, asset tracking, securing remote access, and meeting compliance requirements.
- Engage with operations and maintenance teams to promote system reliability, maximize uptime, and ensure safe work practices.
- Advise on changes to control systems, instrument specifications, and overall site optimization projects.
- Keep accurate records and support ongoing improvement programs.
