Responsibilities
- Oversee risk management initiatives for a variety of clients, focusing mainly on public and financial sectors.
- Develop and sustain robust client relationships, serving as a reliable advisor.
- Comprehend client business goals, regulatory frameworks, and risk vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate the design and deployment of Enterprise Risk Management processes and structures.
- Participate in executing risk management strategies, including risk identification, analysis, response planning, monitoring, and control.
- Perform risk evaluations by analyzing, identifying, describing, and estimating potential threats and weaknesses affecting the organization.
- Define and measure the organization's risk appetite and tolerance across the entire company.
- Formulate risk management policies and procedures to address identified risks.
- Create risk prevention, mitigation, and emergency plans, ensuring consistency of mitigation analysis and contingency plans across all key departments.
- Assist in the implementation and upkeep of risk management programs.
- Compile consolidated and individual risk reports for presentation at various organizational levels.
- Prepare and deliver risk reports to senior management, including the Board Risk Management Committee and Executive Risk Management, as well as stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of Board Risk Management Committee and Executive Risk Management meetings.
- Develop materials and engage in communication or training activities to enhance risk awareness throughout the organization.
- Keep current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk management.
