As a Risk and Compliance Representative, you will play a key role in maintaining regulatory standards by focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) practices and transaction monitoring. Your work will center on identifying and resolving compliance alerts, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and supporting broader efforts to enhance client compliance frameworks.
What You'll Do
- Examine transaction data to detect potential AML indicators and resolve routine compliance cases
- Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in line with regulatory expectations
- Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues before escalation
- Follow established procedures for daily tasks and adapt to new instructions on assigned projects
- Support the shift toward proactive compliance by applying regulatory knowledge to real-time monitoring
- Work flexible rotational shifts as needed to meet operational demands
Requirements
- Proficiency in Anti-Money Laundering principles and practices at an intermediate level
- Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring systems and SAR processes
- Familiarity with Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols and financial crime prevention regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance, risk, or a related function
- Ability to work effectively in English at a foundational level (A1)
