Strongpoint Partners is hiring a Retirement Plan Recordkeeping Associate, (RSG)

About the Role

The individual in this position will assist with maintaining retirement plan records, processing participant transactions, and ensuring adherence to plan documents and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate retirement plan account records
  • Process participant contributions and distributions
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding plan status and transactions
  • Support annual compliance testing and reporting
  • Verify plan document adherence for operational procedures
  • Assist with new plan implementations and data conversions
  • Reconcile account balances and transaction histories
  • Generate periodic reports for plan sponsors and participants
  • Monitor deadlines for required plan actions and filings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with IRS and Department of Labor regulations
  • Track plan amendments and document updates
  • Support audit requests with timely data retrieval
  • Follow established procedures for data security and confidentiality
  • Assist in year-end processing and 1099-R preparation
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members
  • Maintain knowledge of retirement plan rules and updates
  • Participate in team training and process improvement initiatives
  • Utilize recordkeeping systems to update and retrieve account information
  • Perform quality checks on processed transactions
