Responsibilities
- Create a customer-focused atmosphere by interacting with customers politely and professionally and quickly resolving their concerns.
- Oversee and support the training of Pawnbrokers to ensure their growth aligns with company standards.
- Attract high-quality candidates using approved recruitment methods.
- Handle store opening and closing tasks, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and following procedures to safeguard assets.
- Protect assets through inventory control, property safety protocols, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Manage store processes and procedures related to inventory, loan management, merchandising, store appearance, systems, and enterprise reporting.
- Review store financial statements and boost profitability through communication and setting targets.
- Ensure operational standards meet or exceed company benchmarks.
- Oversee loan qualification and purchasing processes to maintain the value and integrity of all issued loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for personal development as directed.
- Communicate clearly with staff to ensure they understand the store's mission and profit goals.
- Stay current on product knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others effectively.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage or other areas.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Should be able to work at multiple locations as business needs require.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
- Store managers will work 45 or more hours per week; hours depend on business needs and are not guaranteed.
- Computer literate and able to operate point-of-sale systems and common office machines.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Compensation
