Responsibilities
- Analyze, assess, and manage denied, underpaid, and unresolved claims using internal software and tools.
- Interpret payer documentation and provider contracts to verify appropriate payment amounts.
- Examine healthcare provider agreements to identify missed payments and recover outstanding balances promptly.
- Gather medical records and supporting materials needed to file detailed underpayment appeals with insurers.
- Follow up via phone with insurance companies to confirm receipt of documentation and advance claim resolution.
- Support efficient workflows and contribute to higher client satisfaction through consistent performance.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

- Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access office equipment, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a copy/scan/print machine, phone and computer.
