Responsibilities
- Align project quality documentation with contractual requirements.
- Implement and maintain the project's quality management plan.
- Supervise field activities to ensure compliance with project timelines and construction schedules.
- Manage field personnel efficiently, including shift planning, to reduce costs and optimize output.
- Track and assess contractor progress daily and weekly against the baseline schedule, reporting delays to the construction manager.
- Collaborate with the construction manager to resolve on-site issues and propose corrective measures.
- Coordinate project-related activities with external agencies and utility providers.
- Enforce compliance with approved health, safety, and environmental plans on site.
- Supervise assistant engineers, lead inspectors, and office engineers.
- Refer media and public inquiries to designated department contacts.
- Draft project correspondence and submit to the construction manager for final approval.
- Lead coordination meetings and progress reviews for the project team.
- Ensure daily inspection reports are accurate, complete, and formally signed by authorized personnel.
- Prepare and evaluate monthly payment estimates and final disbursements.
- Uphold strong ethical conduct among all team members.
- Review and submit monthly project status reports to the client.
- Analyze and provide feedback on updates to the critical path method schedule.
