Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithms for real-time map updates

- Collaborate with perception and planning teams to align mapping outputs
- Analyze field data to identify mapping inconsistencies
- Build tools for visualizing and debugging map states
- Ensure robustness of mapping in diverse weather and lighting
- Work on versioning and conflict resolution for dynamic maps
- Support simulation environments with realistic map representations
- Evaluate system performance under edge-case scenarios
- Contribute to software architecture for distributed mapping
- Maintain high data integrity across map updates
- Integrate machine learning models into mapping workflows
- Develop anomaly detection for unexpected environmental changes
- Support deployment of mapping systems in test fleets
- Refine coordinate frame transformations across sensors
