The National University of Singapore (with the programme office hosted by Nanyang Technological University) is hiring a Research Engineer to work with the Principal Investigator and research team on characterizing airborne pollutants in urban environments.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research characterizing airborne pollutants in urban environments.
- Conduct independent research and perform proficient literature searches, reviews, and summaries.
- Assist and contribute to quality scientific research publications.
- Create technical presentations, slides, and reports.
What We're Looking For
- A fast learner capable of conducting independent research with a strong background in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Proactive in assisting and contributing to quality scientific research publications.
- Proficient in technical presentation, slide making, and report writing.
- A proven rounded and effective team player with strong initiative and ownership of the research project.
Nice to Have
- Experience in applying data analytics, machine learning, and handling big data.
- Experience in applying Python functions of matplotlib, numPy, pandas, and statsmodels.
- Experience in operating instruments measuring physical and/or chemical properties of airborne pollutants.
