Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) seeks a Research Assistant 2 to join the laboratory of Brian Scottoline at the Pape Family Pediatric Research Institute. This role contributes to defining the biological functions of human milk beyond nutrition, specifically discovering its effects on intestinal epithelial and immune system function. You'll apply advanced techniques to identify components that modulate development using novel patient-derived models.
What You'll Do
- Help make discoveries in biomedical research.
- Apply molecular biology techniques, -omics data and approaches, and imaging.
- Identify components of human milk that modulate intestinal development using patient-derived enteroids and samples.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s in a relevant field, OR an Associate’s and 2 years of relevant experience, OR 3 years of relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently in a dynamic environment.
