Responsibilities
- Monitor production output by tracking yield rates and quality standards
- Inspect machinery regularly to ensure proper operation and cleanliness
- Verify employee attendance and assign qualified substitutes when necessary
- Ensure staff perform tasks correctly and in compliance with safety protocols
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
- Propose enhancements to increase production efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues with production equipment
- Conduct hourly sampling of products to verify moisture content and quality
- Adjust processing rates based on incoming materials from fabrication
- Advise on optimal methods for operating machinery to improve effectiveness
