About the Role
This position involves delivering outpatient therapy services to individuals using a hybrid model of care that integrates technology and clinical expertise. The therapist will work with patients across Wyoming via secure video platforms and coordinate with psychiatric providers to support comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions with patients in accordance with clinical best practices
- Perform initial and ongoing psychiatric assessments to evaluate patient needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers to adjust treatment as needed
- Monitor patient progress and modify therapeutic approaches accordingly
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Engage in care coordination with external healthcare providers
- Follow ethical guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Support patient education about mental health conditions and treatments
- Respond to patient messages within established response time standards
- Adhere to documentation standards and regulatory requirements
- Stay current with clinical guidelines and therapeutic techniques
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in onboarding new clinical team members
- Attend training sessions on platform updates and policies
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations in Wyoming
- Work within interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Use digital tools to schedule and manage patient appointments
Nice to Have
- Experience with integrated behavioral health models
- Additional certification in trauma-informed care
- Prior work in outpatient mental health settings
- Familiarity with psychiatric medication basics
- Training in cognitive behavioral therapy
- Experience with perinatal mental health
- Knowledge of ADHD across the lifespan
- Background in LGBTQ+ affirming care
- Experience serving rural populations
- Fluency in Spanish
