About the Role
This role involves delivering high-quality psychotherapy to patients via telehealth, working alongside psychiatrists to support comprehensive mental health treatment. The therapist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy while using a structured, team-based approach.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual therapy sessions remotely to patients across Nevada
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and psychosocial evaluations
- Develop and update personalized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Collaborate with psychiatrists to coordinate patient care
- Document clinical interactions in the electronic health record system
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Use evidence-based therapeutic modalities in practice
- Maintain compliance with state licensing and privacy regulations
- Engage in regular team meetings for case reviews and care coordination
- Respond promptly to patient messages and scheduling requests
- Support patients in crisis with timely interventions
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to clinical protocols and organizational standards
- Attend training sessions to maintain clinical skills
- Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation
- Work within a multidisciplinary care model
- Uphold professional boundaries in all patient interactions
- Contribute to a patient-centered care environment
- Manage a consistent caseload of patients
- Follow best practices for telehealth delivery
- Maintain active state licensure in good standing
- Support timely access to care for new patients
- Engage in peer collaboration for clinical consultation
