About the Role
This role involves delivering high-quality psychiatric therapy to patients through virtual platforms. The therapist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer ongoing therapeutic support while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
- Deliver individual therapy using evidence-based practices
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other providers
- Respond to patient messages within established timeframes
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Adhere to clinical policies and ethical standards
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage in continuous quality improvement activities
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Support patient engagement and retention in treatment
- Use diagnostic criteria to inform clinical decisions
- Promote patient education and self-management strategies
- Contribute to a patient-centered care model
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards
- Attend required trainings and professional development sessions
- Follow documentation protocols for billing and compliance
- Collaborate with care coordinators for seamless service delivery

- Background in treating anxiety and mood disorders
- Training in trauma-informed care
- Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Experience with perinatal mental health
- Knowledge of ADHD across the lifespan
- Prior work in outpatient mental health settings
- Experience with LGBTQ+ affirming care
- Fluency in Spanish
