About the Role
This role involves delivering primary care services entirely through telemedicine, including diagnosing conditions, managing chronic diseases, prescribing treatments, and maintaining continuity of care for patients in various locations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations using secure telehealth technology
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions remotely
- Review patient medical histories and current symptoms
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Develop individualized treatment plans for ongoing health management
- Prescribe medications following regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
- Provide preventive care counseling and health education
- Coordinate care with specialists when necessary
- Follow up with patients to monitor treatment progress
- Ensure compliance with state-specific telemedicine regulations
- Respond to patient messages within established timeframes
- Support continuity of care across visits
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to patient privacy and HIPAA standards
Nice to Have
