Uptalent.io is seeking a Remote Technology Designer with specialized knowledge in Structured Cabling and Low Voltage Systems to design and document critical infrastructure components. This role involves close collaboration with architectural, electrical, and IT teams to deliver compliant, well-documented system designs across a range of technology platforms.
What You'll Do
- Design and documentation of low voltage systems, including: Structured cabling (voice/data networks)
- Design and documentation of low voltage systems, including: Access control
- Design and documentation of low voltage systems, including: Audio/visual (A/V)
- Design and documentation of low voltage systems, including: CCTV / security systems
- Design and documentation of low voltage systems, including: Wireless infrastructure
- Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and IT teams
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and detailed layouts for low voltage systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, etc.)
- Review submittals and support construction administration when required
