Niva Health is looking for a Remote Operator to serve as the first impression for patients and families across the country. In this role, you will provide empathetic and professional call center support, connecting people with answers and assistance.
What You'll Do
- Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally using multi-line switchboard systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product or service information with care and efficiency.
- Place outbound calls for follow-ups, appointment reminders, or patient outreach.
- Accurately document call details and resolutions using digital tools and systems.
- Escalate complex or unresolved calls to the appropriate department as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure the best possible outcomes for every caller.
- Adhere to company protocols for privacy, data protection, and confidentiality of information.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics for response time, resolution, and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on processes and best practices through team meetings and ongoing training.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years’ experience in a call center or switchboard operator role, preferably in healthcare, finance, or service industries.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and enjoy helping others resolve concerns and navigate their options.
- Skilled communicator with a friendly and professional phone presence.
- Experience using call center software, switchboard systems, and either Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Previous experience working remotely, with proven self-motivation and reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm and empathetic, even in high-pressure situations.
- Maintain a quiet, professional home workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
Nice to Have
- Bilingual or multilingual.
- Experience working with electronic health records or digital healthcare tools.
- Have contributed to process improvements or team initiatives in previous roles.
