Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities to identify individual needs and objectives.
- Create personalized treatment plans and measurable goals based on evaluation results.
- Deliver remote occupational therapy interventions, including guided exercises and functional activities, to support patient progress.
- Instruct patients and caregivers in techniques that promote independence and improve daily living skills.
- Keep detailed, current records of patient care, including treatment plans, progress updates, and required documentation.
- Follow ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, including adherence to patient confidentiality laws such as HIPAA.
- Use telehealth technology efficiently to conduct secure and effective virtual therapy sessions.
- Engage in continuous professional learning to stay informed about advancements in occupational therapy practice.
