Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual evaluations to assess clients' functional abilities and needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments
- Guide clients through therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Collaborate with caregivers and family members to support therapy goals
- Document client sessions and outcomes accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards
- Use telehealth platforms to deliver secure and effective therapy
- Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and home modifications
- Support clients across various age groups and ability levels
- Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements
- Respond to client inquiries and schedule follow-up sessions
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers when necessary
- Educate clients and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies
- Promote independence in activities of daily living
- Address sensory, motor, and cognitive challenges in therapy plans
- Conduct discharge planning and transition recommendations
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Follow ethical guidelines and professional standards
- Ensure timely submission of clinical documentation
- Assist with onboarding new clients into the therapy program
- Support quality improvement initiatives
