• Design system architecture • Build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for scalable backend methods from idea to going live • Scaling platform from video & chat, API, a web application to the database • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with the server-side logic • Integration of data storage solutions • Identification of bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems • Lead in a continuous improvement of the development process (e.g. coding standards, unit testing, code reviews, documentation) • Sounding-board for the definition of product development landscape
