About the Role
This position oversees the coordination of data gathering activities, supports participant communication, and ensures research protocols are followed accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule participant sessions for research studies
- Verify data accuracy and completeness across multiple sources
- Maintain secure digital records of research activities
- Communicate with participants to confirm availability and provide instructions
- Track research timelines and report progress to senior staff
- Assist in developing data collection tools and templates
- Identify inconsistencies in submitted information and initiate follow-up
- Ensure compliance with research protocols and confidentiality standards
- Coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot data entry issues
- Prepare summary reports for review by analysts
- Respond to participant inquiries via email and phone
- Update databases with real-time research developments
- Support the onboarding of new research participants
- Monitor data submission deadlines and escalate delays
- Contribute to process improvements for research efficiency
- Maintain version control for research documentation
- Log participant feedback for quality assurance purposes
- Assist in validating survey instrument functionality
- Follow up on incomplete or missing data points
- Ensure consistent application of research guidelines
- Facilitate communication between researchers and participants
- Document procedural deviations and resolution steps
- Generate routine status updates for project leads
- Support audit readiness through organized recordkeeping
- Participate in team meetings to align on research goals
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a research-related discipline
- Experience with longitudinal study coordination
- Background in behavioral or market research
- Familiarity with HIPAA or similar privacy frameworks
- Certification in research coordination or data management
- Experience using REDCap or similar data platforms
- Prior work in virtual research environments
- Training in ethical review board procedures
- Knowledge of statistical software interfaces
- Demonstrated success in high-volume data settings
