About the Role
This role supports the management of employee benefits programs, focusing on accurate data entry, client support, and regulatory compliance. Candidates will work remotely and receive training to handle benefits-related inquiries and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Process new employee benefits enrollments and changes
- Respond to employee questions about health, dental, and retirement plans
- Maintain up-to-date records in benefits administration systems
- Assist with compliance reporting for federal and state regulations
- Support open enrollment periods with documentation and communication
- Verify eligibility for benefits participation
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve issues
- Generate reports for internal stakeholders
- Ensure confidentiality of personal and medical data
- Assist in auditing benefits records for accuracy
- Update employee handbooks and benefits summaries
- Track life event changes affecting coverage
- Provide backup support during peak periods
- Follow established procedures for claims inquiries
- Participate in training on new benefits platforms
- Monitor deadlines for regulatory filings
- Help onboard new clients onto benefits systems
- Input plan renewals and updates accurately
- Assist with COBRA administration tasks
- Communicate policy updates to employees
- Maintain organized digital files for audits
- Escalate complex cases to senior staff
- Use phone and email to support end-users
- Stay current with changes in benefits regulations
- Support wellness program coordination
Compensation
$45,000 - $52,000 annually

Training & Onboarding
