Responsibilities
- Design and deploy structured cabling systems that satisfy or surpass technical specifications, ensuring proper baselining, testing, and validation per DoD STIG prior to deployment.
- Conduct site assessments to gather data and evaluate telecommunications and building technology systems, components, and equipment, particularly for projects lacking clearly defined scopes.
- Manage and maintain inside plant cable infrastructure, including conduit systems, cable trays, copper, coaxial, fiber optic cabling, and related components.
- Create Engineering Installation Plans (EIPs) detailing cable rack placement, rack wiring configurations, and required testing protocols during installation phases.
- Stay current with applicable codes, standards, and emerging technologies relevant to telecommunications and building technology design and construction sectors.
- Plan, integrate, and oversee telecommunications and data communication systems and their underlying infrastructure.

- Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- Proven experience operating within a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a government-led, multi-contractor team structure.
- Strict adherence to DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and established engineering standards.
