Responsibilities
- Drive adoption of industrial solutions and services within the mining industry
- Oversee all sales operations in a designated geographic region
- Source new business opportunities and meet or exceed revenue targets
- Conduct on-site client meetings to assess operational requirements
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, key vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors at various levels
- Create and implement market expansion plans in coordination with leadership
- Engage in industry events such as trade shows, conferences, and professional associations
- Lead end-to-end proposal management, from creation to final contract discussions
- Monitor bid progress proactively to increase win rates
- Collaborate with technical and tender teams to develop accurate project bids
- Deliver customized solutions, address concerns, set realistic expectations, and ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain high-quality standards in all customer-facing communications
- Submit comprehensive monthly reports detailing activities, pipeline status, challenges, and project timelines
- Gather and share insights on market dynamics, competitors, and industry trends
- Update sales tracking systems weekly and produce accurate sales projections
- Identify and pursue opportunities to sell additional services across business units
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and departments at all levels
- Design and manage long-term industrial service agreements
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects to support consistent revenue flow
- Lead opportunity identification through direct client engagement and industry networking
