Veolia is hiring a Regional Sales Manager - Mining (Western Canada)

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of industrial solutions and services within the mining industry
  • Oversee all sales operations in a designated geographic region
  • Source new business opportunities and meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Conduct on-site client meetings to assess operational requirements
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, key vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors at various levels
  • Create and implement market expansion plans in coordination with leadership
  • Engage in industry events such as trade shows, conferences, and professional associations
  • Lead end-to-end proposal management, from creation to final contract discussions
  • Monitor bid progress proactively to increase win rates
  • Collaborate with technical and tender teams to develop accurate project bids
  • Deliver customized solutions, address concerns, set realistic expectations, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintain high-quality standards in all customer-facing communications
  • Submit comprehensive monthly reports detailing activities, pipeline status, challenges, and project timelines
  • Gather and share insights on market dynamics, competitors, and industry trends
  • Update sales tracking systems weekly and produce accurate sales projections
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to sell additional services across business units
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and departments at all levels
  • Design and manage long-term industrial service agreements
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects to support consistent revenue flow
  • Lead opportunity identification through direct client engagement and industry networking
