Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet regional revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Southwest market
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and referral partners
- Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting
- Coach and mentor a team of sales professionals
- Conduct regular performance reviews and set individual goals
- Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to streamline deal execution
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Prepare and present monthly sales reports to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Drive adoption of financing solutions among equipment vendors and dealers
- Negotiate terms and structure deals to meet client needs
- Maintain CRM records with up-to-date client and prospect information
- Support marketing initiatives with field insights and feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in financial services or lending
- Proven track record in equipment leasing or asset-based financing
- Experience managing and leading field sales teams
- Strong understanding of credit evaluation and risk assessment
- Familiarity with commercial lending processes and documentation
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel frequently
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions
- History of exceeding sales targets consistently
- Knowledge of Southwest regional business landscape
- Professional demeanor with diverse client groups
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in business administration or finance
- Ten or more years in equipment finance or commercial lending
- Existing network of industry contacts in the Southwest
- Experience with portfolio management and client retention
- Leadership in cross-functional project teams
- Track record of launching new market initiatives
- Fluency in Spanish or other regional languages
