Paytm Payments Services is hiring a Regional Manager - DGM - GM - Guwahati

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end regional business ownership, including revenue and P&L
  • Merchant acquisition
  • QR deployment
  • Activation
  • Transaction growth
  • Market expansion
  • Large-scale sales team leadership
  • Work closely with senior business and functional leadership to define regional strategy
  • Build high-performing teams
  • Identify growth opportunities
  • Deliver sustainable business outcomes
  • Operate as a business leader, driving both strategic direction and execution excellence across the region

Requirements

  • Graduate/Postgraduate from a Tier-1 college/institution.
  • 6–15 years of relevant experience in sales, business leadership, or distribution.
  • Proven experience in leading large sales teams and managing regional/multi-geography businesses.
  • Strong exposure to P&L ownership, merchant acquisition, B2B/KAM, and transaction-led businesses.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
  • Ability to build businesses, launch new markets, and scale high-performing teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Fintech, Payments, Banking, Telecom, Insurance, Merchant Acquiring, or FMCG preferred.
