Lesaffre is hiring a Regional Lean and Industry 4.0 Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts throughout the MEA region to strengthen operational performance and advance lean management principles.
  • Design and roll out a comprehensive lean framework that supports consistent application of best-in-class lean practices.
  • Help define and execute a regional lean vision, strategy, policies, and procedures to foster operational excellence.
  • Deliver training programs that deepen regional teams’ understanding of lean management and continuous improvement.
  • Work with individual business units to develop, track, and report on continuous improvement roadmaps tailored to their goals.
  • Ensure improvement projects are strategically aligned and coordinated with key stakeholders.
  • Offer guidance and support to teams across the MEA region for effective rollout of improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out business process reviews and statistical evaluations to uncover and assess improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct site visits to regional plants to assess operations, gather data, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve operational issues reported by regional facilities.
  • Identify opportunities for business improvement in MEA subsidiaries, create project plans, and present them to leadership.
  • Support new business initiatives by assessing and communicating their impact on lean operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for business improvement processes to capture and share best practices.
  • Propose cost-saving measures that maintain high standards of quality and service delivery.
  • Support the regional Factory 4.0 project lead and automation lead, ensuring initiatives align with industrial strategy.
  • Review and approve the Operational Technologies (OT) roadmap and promote integration between IT and OT systems.
  • Lead the deployment of the regional Factory 4.0 roadmap, ensuring technology investments support lean efficiency goals.
  • Provide regular updates to management on project progress, including risks, dependencies, budgets, and required actions.
  • Ensure all lean and technical projects comply with health and safety regulations.
