Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance executive for the European region, collaborating closely with regional leadership and the General Manager
- Offer strategic financial direction on market expansion, investment opportunities, and growth initiatives
- Represent the finance function in regional leadership meetings and annual planning cycles coordinated with headquarters
- Adapt and implement global financial strategies within regional operations
- Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term planning for Europe
- Take full ownership of profit and loss performance, including variance analysis and insight generation
- Promote financial accountability and monitor key performance indicators across European markets
- Support investment evaluation and scenario modeling for strategic decision-making
- Develop and expand a scalable financial data infrastructure to support regional growth
- Create advanced analytics and reporting dashboards to inform business decisions
- Analyze patterns in customer behavior, pricing trends, and product category performance
- Collaborate with data and commercial teams to improve profitability analysis
- Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with global policies and standards
- Manage the quarterly rolling forecast process for Europe, aligned with global timelines
- Oversee internal controls, audit coordination, and risk mitigation activities
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements across European legal entities
- Act as the main liaison between regional operations and global finance, tax, and audit teams
- Provide trusted financial counsel to commercial, supply chain, and operations teams
- Support pricing models, promotional planning, and margin enhancement strategies
- Lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness
- Ensure financial objectives are synchronized with commercial execution
- Build and manage a regional finance team as the organization grows, including accounting roles
- Strengthen regional finance capabilities in analytics, planning, and financial control
