About the Role
This role leads supply chain strategy and operations for multiple healthcare facilities in the western United States. The individual will manage procurement, vendor relationships, logistics, and inventory control to ensure consistent supply availability while driving cost efficiency and operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain operations for multiple healthcare facilities in the western region
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels
- Manage vendor selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance
- Oversee inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to align supply needs with patient care goals
- Drive standardization of supplies and equipment across facilities
- Monitor supply chain metrics and report performance to senior leadership
- Lead initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and sustainability
- Manage logistics and distribution networks for timely delivery of goods
- Support emergency preparedness and continuity planning for supply disruptions
- Evaluate new technologies and systems to enhance supply chain visibility
- Mentor and develop supply chain personnel across the region
- Ensure alignment with national supply chain policies and objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams on supply chain improvement projects
- Analyze market trends and pricing to inform purchasing decisions
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting
- Coordinate with finance on budgeting and forecasting for supply expenses
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
