IDEA Public Schools is hiring a Regional Community Engagement Manager - Rio Grande Valley (26-27)

About the Role

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining community partnerships, engaging families, and promoting organizational visibility across multiple campuses in the Rio Grande Valley region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain relationships with community organizations, local leaders, and civic groups
  • Coordinate outreach initiatives to increase awareness of academic programs
  • Support family engagement efforts through workshops and community events
  • Identify partnership opportunities that align with educational goals
  • Serve as a liaison between schools and local stakeholders
  • Organize and lead community forums and informational sessions
  • Collaborate with regional teams to execute engagement strategies
  • Track and report on community interaction metrics and outcomes
  • Assist in cultivating volunteer and mentorship programs
  • Promote student enrollment and retention through local outreach
  • Represent the organization at public and community gatherings
  • Support grant-related community engagement requirements
  • Facilitate communication between campuses and external partners
  • Respond to community inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources
  • Help coordinate back-to-school and graduation events
  • Work with media and communications teams on local messaging
  • Identify local needs and recommend outreach adjustments
  • Maintain accurate records of community interactions
  • Ensure engagement strategies reflect local cultural context
  • Support crisis communication efforts when needed
  • Train staff on community engagement best practices
  • Foster relationships with faith-based organizations
  • Engage local businesses in supporting school initiatives
  • Monitor community sentiment and provide feedback to leadership
  • Support policy advocacy efforts through grassroots engagement
