Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior operational managers overseeing the European BioPharma Services division.
- Support the formulation of medium-term strategic plans, focusing on lab network optimization, site expansions, entry into new markets, and service portfolio development.
- Establish and supervise transfer pricing frameworks applicable to the business line.
- Implement and maintain specialized financial KPIs as required for specific initiatives or units.
- Lead daily financial operations and performance oversight, including building high-performing finance and support teams in HR, IT, Marketing, and Internal Consulting.
- Manage budget preparation, financial reporting, and controlling activities, covering both financial results and workforce planning.
- Promote standardized processes, KPIs, and internal controls across assigned entities through continuous improvement and performance benchmarking.
- Design and execute procurement and standardization strategies to achieve meaningful cost reductions.
- Supervise acquisition activities, including due diligence support and post-acquisition integration of new laboratories.
- Lead or participate in cross-company initiatives within the business line to enhance synergy and efficiency.
- Oversee human resource management practices across the entities in the region.
- Recruit, mentor, and advance leadership talent while managing succession planning for key roles.
- Ensure successful deployment and adoption of IT systems and solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with operational leaders responsible for the BioPharma Services Europe Business Line.
- Contribute to the mid-term strategy of the Business Line in your scope, with a focus on laboratory footprint, new & extended sites, expansion in new countries, and key services portfolio management.
- Define and monitor transfer pricing models for the relevant Business Line.
- Ensure the implementation and use of relevant ad hoc financial KPIs when needed.
- Carry out day-to-day leadership and performance management for teams, processes and activities, including the development of strong finance and support teams, including HR, IT, Marketing, and Internal Consulting.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and controlling (financials & headcounts).
- Drive the implementation of standard processes, KPIs and controls for Eurofins companies in your scope through industrial/permanent improvement measures, and operational/commercial excellence metrics for individual areas of activity.
- Develop and implement sourcing and standardisation strategies in order to obtain significant purchasing savings.
- Oversee the acquisitions that are planned and completed by supporting due diligence processes and leading the restructuring and integration of newly acquired laboratories.
- Lead or take part in transversal projects between Eurofins companies across the relevant Business Line.
- Manage and oversee human resource activities for Eurofins companies within your scope.
- Recruit, develop and promote talented leaders and manage the succession planning process for relevant teams in your scope.
- Oversee the effective roll-out of IT solutions.
