Block by Block is hiring a Recruitment Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Manages all stages of the hiring workflow from initiation to closure
  • Works with department leads to define and document precise job requirements and position details
  • Designs and applies targeted sourcing techniques based on role demands and organizational context
  • Supports the creation and distribution of job postings and promotional materials
  • Reviews applicant profiles and shortlists individuals who meet qualification standards
  • Coordinates interview logistics and helps prepare evaluation tools and question sets
  • Participates in initial candidate interviews and supports overall assessment efforts
  • Partners with hiring teams during offer development, including compensation, incentives, and start timelines
  • Ensures all recruitment activities follow applicable employment laws and internal policies
  • Represents the organization at academic career events and talent outreach programs
  • Completes additional tasks as needed by the hiring or HR team
