Responsibilities
- Design and enhance reconciliation systems across SEPA, SWIFT, and card transactions from start to finish, focusing on challenging areas, not just simple components.
- Expand reconciliation frameworks to cover non-standard domains such as investment and portfolio data, collaborating with third-party data providers when necessary.
- Develop and automate regulatory and vendor reporting workflows, ensuring alignment and traceability with reconciliation datasets.
- Integrate data validation mechanisms early in the pipeline to detect and prevent data quality issues at the source.
- Eliminate manual reconciliation tasks through automation using scripts, internal tools, or external platforms, aiming for full process efficiency.
- Create real-time monitoring dashboards using visualization tools to track reconciliation breaks, overdue items, and overall process performance.
- Lead continuous improvement by addressing recurring discrepancies and key risk indicators with structural solutions rather than temporary fixes.
- Serve as the go-to expert on reconciliation methodologies and tools, proactively guiding teams without waiting for direction.
- Operate independently to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions from ambiguous requirements with minimal supervision.
