AECOM is hiring a Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive cost forecasts during initial, design development, and detailed design phases
  • Create and maintain Bills of Quantities to support procurement through tendering
  • Lead tender administration, assess submitted bids, and provide client recommendations
  • Track and control project expenditures, budgets, and financial timelines according to internal and client standards
  • Evaluate and process interim payments and variation claims
  • Analyze work scopes, productivity rates, and historical cost information
  • Generate, verify, and revise cash flow projections for active projects
  • Negotiate and assess changes and variations in coordination with project stakeholders
  • Manage closure accounting and final financial reconciliations
  • Support cost benchmarking, data archiving, and internal financial summaries
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within budget targets
  • Maintain awareness of construction-related laws and industry standards in the UAE
