Responsibilities

  • Ensure marine products meet customer, class, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review inspection and test records for compliance.
  • Identify and report quality issues.
  • Support continuous improvement activities.
  • Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials.
  • Perform stage inspection of pressure vessels and piping skids.
  • Carry out visual inspection of welding joints.
  • Handle calibration of measuring instruments.
  • Execute pressure testing of vessels and piping skids.
  • Perform helium and vacuum inspections.
  • Conduct blasting and painting inspections.
  • Issue final documentation for non-conformance reports.
  • Ensure conformity to the integrated management system.
  • Ensure conformity to marine class society requirements.
  • Report performance of the integrated management system and improvement opportunities to management.
  • Measure, monitor, analyze, and evaluate integrated management system objectives.
  • Maintain and make available extended organizational knowledge as necessary.
  • Retain and maintain documented information.
  • Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the integrated management system.
  • Correct, prevent, or reduce undesired effects.
  • Approve products that meet specified requirements.
  • Reject or hold non-conforming products.
  • Request corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Escalate critical quality concerns to management.
