Responsibilities
- Select and prepare sample units for shipping as required.
- Conduct visual examinations of randomly chosen products during or after production to detect defects including ragged edges, torn or wrinkled pages, improper cuts, binding errors, smudged or uneven printing, surface contamination, misalignment, and other visual non-conformances.
- Use standardized inspection checklists and document all identified issues.
- Adhere to defined quality standard operating procedures to ensure products meet customer-specified quality requirements.
- Generate written reports and inform production supervisors of discovered defects.
- Recognize potential quality concerns and escalate to team lead or management for resolution.
- Support special assignments or intricate customer jobs as needed.
- Assist in evaluating and handling non-conforming or defective materials.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
Compensation
$18.75 per hour plus $2.00 per hour shift differential
Work Arrangement
Second shift (approx. 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
