Responsibilities
- Oversee quality standards for civil and structural construction projects.
- Produce daily quality control reports.
- Supervise subcontractors' adherence to quality protocols.
- Manage submittal processes, verifying completeness and accuracy.
- Lead scheduled quality phase meetings.
- Conduct regular field inspections to prevent contract deviations.
- Guide project teams in preparing technical submittals.
- Promote a culture of quality with a focus on ongoing improvement.
- Gather, process, and interpret quality data to inform decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure timely daily reporting.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics such as rework costs, submittal tracking, and non-conformance trends.
- Use performance data to refine procedures and systems for greater efficiency.
- Analyze all contract components including specifications, addenda, pre-bid details, and drawings.
- Maintain and report on the project's Defects Log, including trends and corrective actions.
- Lead and document quality-focused meetings, including issuing minutes.
- Coordinate required inspections and testing per project specifications and the Testing and Inspection Log.
- Ensure sufficient testing staff, equipment, and lab compliance are available.
- Verify timely execution of pre-construction activities including submittals, planning, and meetings.
- Review project specifications to fully understand client deliverable expectations.
- Ensure compliance through thorough examination of project documentation.
- Evaluate test methods and procedures with internal technicians and external labs as necessary.
- Coordinate with Superintendents to confirm proper testing execution and data collection.
- Verify incoming materials meet required specifications, grades, and delivery schedules.
- Initiate, document, and monitor corrective actions for non-conformance issues.

- Work schedule follows a 6 weeks on, 1 week off rotation.
- Must follow and enforce safety protocols, addressing any violations by staff, subcontractors, or vendors.
- Role includes frequent field inspections and coordination with testing labs and personnel.
