About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer I to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans to ensure the quality of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track bugs, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be crucial in delivering reliable and high-performing software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans and cases.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Ensure software meets quality standards and performance criteria.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of testing processes and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and testing methodologies.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress and results.
  • Assist in the creation of test data and environments.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure software stability.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues.
  • Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Document test results and maintain test reports.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements.
  • Provide input on test automation strategies.
  • Participate in the development of test automation frameworks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process.
  • Support the team in achieving project milestones and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Selenium or similar automation tools.
  • Knowledge of JIRA or similar project management tools.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Experience with mobile app testing frameworks (e.g., Appium).
  • Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Knowledge of security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
