The Adaptavist Group was looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/d) German speaker

The QA/Test Automation Engineer position will work with customers to help them ensure the highest quality and reliability of their software products, including designing, implementing, and evolving automated testing frameworks using Selenium, as well as working with other modern testing and quality assurance tools. As part of our clients' partially outsourced teams, this position will assist their businesses acting as a remote QA expert on a day-to-day basis ensuring that we implement a world-class Software Quality Assurance best practices. We are seeking a standard-level QA / Test Automation Engineer to join our internal engineering team. In this role, you will focus on building, executing, and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium. You will collaborate directly with internal developers and product teams to integrate automated testing seamlessly into our deployment pipelines. What you'll be doing - Automation Development: Write and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium - Defect Tracking: Isolate, replicate, and document software bugs in tracking systems, providing detailed logs and reproduction steps - Cover embedded software, backend/server applications, and system integrations - Establish and continuously improve software quality processes, testing methodologies, and best practices across development teams. - Define testing strategies across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements validation, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and release testing - Define guidelines and best practices for test case design, test coverage, traceability, and test documentation across teams. - Drive test automation strategy and ensure automated testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines. - Familiar with the use of code generation tool for quality assurance and testing automation purposes. - Define and improve defect management processes, root cause analysis processes, and continuous improvement loops. - Define strategies for system testing environments, simulation environments, and hardware-in-the-loop testing where required. - Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, cybersecurity requirements, and software development processes.
