Responsibilities
- Evaluate product requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to deliver actionable and timely feedback
- Develop thorough, well-organized test plans and test cases to support comprehensive testing
- Assess, sequence, schedule, and manage testing efforts efficiently
- Build and run automated test scripts using open-source testing frameworks
- Detect, log, document, and monitor software defects through resolution
- Conduct regression testing to verify fixes and prevent new issues
- Establish and apply quality testing procedures for both new and current features
- Collaborate with developers and product leads to clarify system requirements
- Observe and assess outcomes of debugging initiatives
- Analyze root causes of software failures and guide users in applying corrective measures
- Measure and monitor QA performance indicators such as defect density and unresolved issue counts
- Keep current with emerging testing tools and evolving test methodologies
