We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and tools, as well as good communication skills to collaborate effectively with peers. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated enthusiastic team player, who enjoys taking on challenging tasks, is involved in the open-source community, loves working with the latest technologies, and is passionate about ensuring the quality of software products and learning new things.
This role is fully remote (within Thailand) and involves working with an US-based team. Some flexibility is required in terms of working hours to overlap with US office hours.
Responsibilities:
Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing by following predefined test scripts.
Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify and document software defects or issues in JIRA.
Collaborate with team members and developers to solve the issue
Learn and apply software testing methodologies and best practices
Provide feedback on user experience and software usability.
Adhere to project deadlines and deliverables.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
1-2 years of work experience as a software tester in an international company or remote environment.
Knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
English language proficiency would be beneficial.
Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
Flexible to work across multiple time zones
