Responsibilities
- Enhance and support an established WebdriverIO automation framework using a modular Page Object design
- Develop and run automated test scripts for web and React Native mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms using WebdriverIO and cloud-based device testing services
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and full system end-to-end testing
- Embed automated testing processes within CI/CD workflows to enable rapid and stable software releases
- Investigate failures, interpret test outcomes, and deliver practical feedback to enhance product reliability
- Work closely with engineering teams to establish robust test approaches for new and existing functionalities
- Advocate for high standards in test automation, focusing on long-term scalability, consistency, and ease of maintenance
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog refinement to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Develop, update, and manage detailed test plans, test scenarios, and reporting materials
- Drive quality assurance, automation adoption, and testability considerations throughout all stages of software development
- Coordinate with multiple development teams, managing competing priorities while upholding consistent quality benchmarks
- Support early testing initiatives to identify defects sooner and minimize later-stage risks
