About the Role

Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure all software products meet defined standards through effective testing strategies, process adherence, and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of the quality assurance team
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies
  • Ensure testing aligns with project timelines and quality benchmarks
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve defects
  • Monitor and report on testing progress and quality metrics
  • Identify areas for process improvements in QA workflows
  • Train team members on testing tools and best practices
  • Maintain documentation for test cases and procedures
  • Oversee execution of manual and automated testing
  • Ensure compliance with software quality standards
  • Coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects
  • Escalate critical issues to project stakeholders
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects
  • Support release management and deployment validation
  • Evaluate new testing tools and technologies
  • Promote a culture of quality across departments
  • Manage workload distribution within the QA team
  • Track defect resolution and retesting cycles
  • Participate in project planning and estimation phases
  • Ensure test environments are properly configured
  • Facilitate QA involvement in agile ceremonies
  • Review test results and provide actionable feedback
  • Maintain version control for test assets
  • Drive consistency in testing approaches
  • Support onboarding of new QA team members
