Utilizing your experience in TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber, you'll implement and maintain automated tests, embracing a BDD approach to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. What you’ll be doing:
Your primary responsibilities will involve ensuring the quality and reliability of an eCommerce application through automated testing. You will be developing and maintaining Automated Tests using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber, following the BDD approach. You will be actively involved in UI, API, and DB testing.
In essence, you will contribute significantly to ensuring the quality and stability of the eCommerce platform by building and maintaining automated tests and actively participating in the software development lifecycle. Your "automation first" mindset and experience with various testing techniques will be crucial for delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
What we want from you:
- Experience in testing eCommerce applications
- Solid experience of test automation using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber
- Proficiency in working within Agile environments and In sprint automation
- Hands-on experience with Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber & Gherkin
- Good knowledge and experience in testing APIs and web services
- Experience in Accessibility testing and Visual testing using Playwright.
- Experience in backend testing, including familiarity with databases (DB2, Oracle) and SQL querying.
- Hands-on experience with UNIX commands and log verifications
- Experience testing RESTful services using Playwright or similar frameworks
- Automation first approach mindset, ability to identify data requirements and implement tests to achieve coverage
- Experience with existing test automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript, and a willingness to contribute to their enhancement.
- Experience in testing automation within a continuous integration environment
- Familiarity with source code control systems like GitHub, BitBucket, or similar.
- Collaboration in daily stand-ups and close collaboration with team developers
- Utilisation of feedback from all stakeholders to expand test scenarios
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and reprioritise in a fast-paced team environment
- Effective interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with all stakeholders
- Attention to detail and highly organised
If you know some of this, even better:
- Retail sector experience.
- Experience working with Cypress
- Experience of IBM WebSphere Commerce, Magento, Hybris or other eCommerce platforms
- Experience of using Jira, Rally or Azure tools
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure pipelines
You will collaborate with our UK project team, so we’ll need you to be available until 18:00 PL
We offer net hourly rate for B2B cooperation ranging from 80 - 100 PLN, dependent on your skills and experience.
