Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain automated test scripts for web-based platforms using tools such as Playwright
- Automate testing processes across both frontend interfaces and backend services
- Enhance and manage automated regression test suites to ensure consistent release quality
- Embed testing procedures within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery
- Support the development of test strategies and quality assurance practices across initiatives
- Configure and maintain test environments and necessary test data sets
- Detect, log, and monitor defects to resolution while helping identify root causes
- Report testing status, risks, and results transparently to project teams
- Actively engage in agile rituals, including planning, backlog refinement, and process improvement activities
Requirements
- Minimum of five years in a quality assurance or software testing capacity
- Proven expertise in test automation for web applications
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright or comparable tools
- Solid grasp of various testing methodologies including functional, integration, and regression testing
- Background working in agile teams with a focus on delivery
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and version control platforms like GitHub or Jenkins
- High level of precision and practical judgment in test design and execution
- Effective communication abilities and experience collaborating with developers and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience validating cloud-hosted systems, particularly on AWS or equivalent platforms
- Involvement in API or service-layer testing
- Use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance testing efficiency
- Knowledge of performance or non-functional testing techniques
- Initiative in advancing QA processes and tooling
- Experience operating across multiple concurrent projects or client settings
