Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of QA for one or two product teams by analyzing specifications, creating test strategies, and executing tests across iOS, Android, web, and backend systems.
- Perform functional, regression, and design validation testing to ensure product quality.
- Log and monitor bugs using Qase and Linear, ensuring accurate tracking and resolution.
- Attend team meetings weekly to align with product managers and engineers on requirements and catch potential issues early.
- Evaluate risks associated with features and product releases to prioritize testing efforts and identify blockers.
- Make final release readiness decisions for assigned teams, clearly communicating what is and isn’t ready for deployment.
- Identify recurring defect patterns and gaps in test coverage to guide better planning and prioritization.
- Determine which testing tasks can be automated versus those requiring manual evaluation, and act accordingly.
- Write detailed, executable test cases to support outsourced or automated testing initiatives.
- Help assess and integrate AI-driven and agentic testing tools to reduce manual workload over time.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to improve processes, coverage, and release preparedness.
- Support the development and sharing of QA standards, documentation, and best practices across teams.
- Champion efficiency by identifying and improving slow or unnecessarily manual processes.

Hybrid — San Francisco, Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Ljubljana

- Must be able to work from San Francisco HQ at least 3 days per week.
