About the Role
The candidate will develop and execute automated test frameworks to identify software issues early in the development lifecycle and improve overall product stability.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand feature requirements
- Maintain and optimize existing test automation frameworks
- Identify gaps in test coverage and propose improvements
- Execute both automated and manual testing when necessary
- Report and track bugs using issue management tools
- Integrate testing pipelines into CI/CD workflows
- Ensure test environments mirror production configurations
- Monitor test results and analyze failure patterns
- Contribute to documentation for test processes and frameworks
- Support release validation and regression testing
- Participate in code reviews for test-related changes
- Stay current with testing tools and industry best practices
- Improve testing efficiency through reusable components
- Assist in defining quality metrics for team performance
- Work across time zones with asynchronous communication
- Respond to critical production issues with diagnostic testing
- Validate third-party integrations through automated checks
- Ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
- Promote a culture of quality within engineering teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with end-to-end testing in React or similar frontend frameworks
- Background in DevOps or SRE practices
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms
- Experience working in fully remote teams
